Olive oil is a major source of Vitamin K, Omega 6 and 9. Both vitamin K and omegas are well known to prevent from cardiovascular diseases.
Omega 6 helps also to lower the bad cholesterol.
Olive oil is also rich in vitamin E, acting as an antioxidant and though helping to delay the aging process.
If you are a regular sport practitioner, you may also take olive oil against tendinitis.
